Family Room Update

This space was a dream to build out. We worked with the existing alcove in the family room to create a dramatic Built-in with floating shelves. The closed cabinetry is a great place to store toys, blankets, books or any other items you want accessible but out of sight.

We balanced the black base with maple floating shelves hand stained with Minwax Classic Gray finish.

To keep the room bright and airy we installed shiplap on the back wall. We painted it white to keep the room inviting.
